The Chinese program here in CCE aims to provide young children with the opportunity to learn another language thereby enriching their cognitive, cultural, educational and social development. 

     The Program is theme based.  Students learn the language through topics such numbers, colors, fruits, animals and many more.  The language is taught through songs, stories, games, and arts and crafts.   They  learn how to construct  simple phrases /sentences, recognize simple Chinese characters as well as write basic strokes and numbers.   In addition, the program introduces the student to important cultures, practices, beliefs, and history of China. All these basic concepts can prepare the student to better understand the Chinese language and allows them to see that there is more than one way of looking at the world.
